I have spent the past two decades mastering the complexity of change and how to manage change successfully. The thing is, the way organizations manage change has got overly complicated and often out of hand - Textbooks, extensive spreadsheets, expensive courses, accreditations, painstaking governance, reporting, etc etc etc, so many tick box exercises. Unsurprisingly 2/3 of change initiatives are deemed a failure. I have recognized that 80% of the value added comes from 20% of the effort. So, let’s drill into that 20% together and “demystify change!”

I have developed a simple 3 step approach for how you and your organization can more simply, affordably and effectively manage change. I want to share this with you and let’s have some fun while we do this!

Biography

“Ah, you’re the change guy!

If only I had a pound for every time I’ve heard that in my career. Since graduating 15 years ago, I’ve been busy in the change space. Unaware at the time, I was somewhat of a trailblazer in the Change Management domain, obsessed with the human centric, psychological nature of change. Pushing myself ever since, to operate at the ‘bleeding edge’ of the change sphere.



I have successfully delivered over 200 projects and programmes at some of the world’s largest blue-chip companies across the energy, retail, financial and professional service sectors. While taking on some of the broadest and toughest change leadership posts out there. 92% of initiatives I have led either met or exceeded adoption, engagement, cost, and timings targets.

While running my own change management consulting business, I started featuring in countless publications and outlets sharing my thoughts on the subject I love. Whether it’s writing, guest speaking, working for myself or the world’s largest employers, my task has always been the same; drive change into the hearts and minds of my audience.


I have since become recognised as a thought leader on all things change.

I help leaders, colleagues and clients orchestrate the human side of change. A natural leader, who’s adaptive and personable style engages staff and delivers positive business results. I have extensive experience in nurturing high performing project and change delivery teams across multiple territories and diverse disciplines. Enthused by influencing and implementing change competencies with stakeholders from a wide variety of professional and cultural backgrounds. Bringing original ideas, creativity and initiative to drive ambitious transformation and cultural change efforts in a coherent, sustainable manner. I am especially passionate about bringing fresh change management thinking to the far corners of the globe and always keeping things simple.
